Our August DDS Finishing Kit is the perfect companion to any CAD/CAM Milling System - everything you need to achieve a beautifully polished restoration after the milling process to final seating in the mouth.
This technique was created by Patterson Certified Cerec Trainer Dr August DeOliveira DDS but can be used with any Milling Process.

The kit includes 16 components.
Step 1- Remove sprue with DiaTrim Sintered Diamond. Light contact pressure - 10 000 rpm max.
Step 2 - Prep restoration for initial polish with BH213A Wheel. Light contact pressure - 8 000 rpm max
Step 3 - Initial Polish with DiaShine Fine and Stiff Bristle Brush. Focus on pull stroke while rotating restoration in your fingers. Use more pressure in occlusal anatomy. 8 000 - 10 000 rpm.
Step 4 - Final polish with DiaShine Fine Soft and Soft Bristle Brush. Again, focus on pull stroke while rotating restoration in your fingers. Use more pressure in occlusal anatomy. 8 000 - 10 000 rpm.
Step 5 - Dry buff with Chamois Centre Soft Bristle Brush. No polish - 15 000 rpm max.
